I'm neither a poet nor a native English speaker.
I wrote what I felt, inspired by a photograph I took somewhere in Spain, and which goes with this post. I hope I managed to convey what was on my mind.
Home
One day,
You will come,
And find one inspiring place
That you call Home.
And even if
You are alone,
You will call that place,
This is my own,
and where I belong.
You´ll feel like a child
That never grown
Awed,
Amazed,
Without fear,
Now that you feel safe
You are in Home.
No grounded floor,
Skys above all,
No walls of stone
There is no door,
You´re never lonely
You´re never small,
And travel deeply
Through the unknown.
No matter how strong
or cold,
the winds blown,
Your home will never falls apart
When walls are made,
With foundations from the heart.
Your home,
It´s not someplace,
It is a state
Where you embrace
Everything you can´t replace.
One day,
You arrive home
And then you find
Inside your heart,
That thing that shines
It is your spark.
Just light her up
Don´t let it overblown
And you will live
Forever Home!

This well-captures the feeling of home—where you can feel as safe as child yet to be grown. A beautiful work!
In my experience as the old saying goes home is not a physical building
and for some of us it’s definitely not where we are born
I agree Home is within us but it’s also connections we have it’s people / community we connect to & they to us it gives us the sense of belonging being part of something more than ourselves
