The Lady in the Van
This week, like every other week, the Boy was waiting for the Van to arrive with anticipation. He never missed.
The greenish Van arrived every week. Inside, a small, thin Lady with glasses was traveling, exuding an atmosphere of mystery and great responsibility. She rarely smiled. It was driven by the driver, a serious and taciturn man, who was like a faithful squire. He drove cautiously, but with determination. Both carried out their important mission seriously.
