Hold back, hold back, hold back.
Keep it to yourself, keep it to yourself, keep it to yourself.
Be quiet, be quiet, be quiet.
Stay silent, stay silent, stay silent.
Suppress, suppress, suppress!
Such are the emotions and thoughts of those who, instead of learning to regulate, were taught to keep quiet, to silence, to repress what they feel.
The same applies to those who were taught that expressing what they feel can be dangerous or have negative consequences.
It is in this deafening silence that they live and hide, out of fear, conditioning, and emotional numbness.
In emotional and behavioral terms, excessive restraint is always an immoderate way of being.
This silence leads you nowhere, except back to suffering. You must speak, express, manifest, rebel, and silence the voice that tells you to stay silent.

Final thought: If these words stayed with you for a moment,
this space might be for you too.
I write here every week —
sometimes in the open,
sometimes a little closer,
for those who choose to stay.

But—but I’m left speechless 😅🤭
