"The invisible Thread" is a deep meditative poem that looks beyond everyday life and events, and seeks the essence of things ... that luminous flux in which everything is truly whole and truly unifying, but rarely visible to our unpracticed eyes. I particularly like verse 2:

"That's what I'm looking for-

a scent of wholeness,

something we know exists,

but remains unknown to us,

a unifying emotion,

a kind of Love,

like the glow of a sunny day."

Thank you for your comment Martin. Verse 2 is my favourite too. You know, I think that somehow all poets are looking for that essence

No, not all poets, my friend - only the good ones. I've seen absolutely dreadful poems written about things that don't matter at all.

This definitely touched me, and as you have so beautifully written, vibrated like a melody! Writing, sharing and our words finding resonance is truly a thread, a bridge towards our remembered connection and wholeness. Thank you for sharing!🙏

Hi Allegra. Thank you for your comment. Aren't we allways filled with the desire to connect, to be part of something? Thats the invisible thread

You were the one, Rolando, who introduced me to Haiku. Let me comment to this deep and evoking poem of yours, "The Invisible Thread", with another Haiku of mine, inspired by your poem: "Powerful poems/connect souls effortlessly/you and me touching." From another child, now old, who also spent a lot of time reading philosophy and cosmology (and astronomy too) looking for the essence of things, seeking to understand how the part (me) fit into the Whole, the Cosmos, the Inside of Everything.
